EGO Data Collection Unit
Handheld first-person capture — collect manipulation demonstrations anywhere, no robot required.
Overview
EGO is a portable handheld data-collection device that pairs a wide-angle fisheye camera with a force-controlled parallel gripper. Operators simply perform tasks by hand while EGO records synchronized vision, gripper action, and 6-DoF trajectory — turning everyday manipulation into large-scale, robot-ready training data.
Key Features
Wide-angle fisheye camera with a 180° field of view captures the full manipulation workspace.
Force-controlled parallel gripper records grasp width and applied force in real time.
Built-in IMU and visual-inertial odometry reconstruct the full 6-DoF motion trajectory.
No robot body needed — human hands collect demonstration data at scale.
